Eating Disorders and the Fight World
Eating disorders. Something that really is not that talked about, and something that is extremely prevalent within both men and women.
As someone who has experienced bulimia to quite the extensive case, and then mixing that mentality in the fight world, its something that I set out to achieve in educating others on how to cut weight efficiently, safely, effectively both physically and mentally.
An eating disorder does not necessarily mean that you must be anorexic, bulimic etc to be qualified in this category. Typically, common subsectors are Orthorexia, Body Dysmorphia, Binge Eating and so on.
Ever questioned as to why its so hard to stay on walk around weight, or just want to throw down 10 donuts in front of your most favourite movie series after a fight camp, and then feel that dreaded feeling like ‘why the f*ck did I just do this’, or ‘I’m cutting weight and making numbers, but why is my body not following’.
The funny thing is, is that many men and women in the sport do not actually know that they might be mentally suffering.
So what are the ramifications and why are you blabbering Big Red?
Well….

A marked loss of interest in activities once enjoyed
